Shownotes

Today on the Take on Board podcast, I speak to Anne Wiberg about some challenges that not-for-profit board directors might experience. In particular, we’ll explore putting together a skilled board, and she’ll also give us some tips and tricks on being a good chair.

Anne is the chair of Music SA, an organisation committed to promoting, supporting and developing contemporary music in South Australia. She is also on the board of Tutti Arts.

She is the Head of Programming at Light Adelaide after freelancing for a number of years, delivering three national AIR Awards, programming four Ruby Awards and coordinating various corporate events. She is also the music programmer for Darwin Festival and a part time DJ.

Anne was previously an Associate Producer for the Adelaide Festival and has worked and volunteered on numerous other multi-arts and music events, including Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Off the Couch, Hoot! Adelaide Hills Jazz Festival, Womadelaide, Adelaide Guitar Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Come Out Festival (now DreamBig).
