Today on the Take on Board podcast I’m speaking with Amanda Cornwall about policies.

This is one of the ‘roles and responsibilities’ episodes – a mini-series into the roles and responsibilities of board directors covering board charters, delegations, board reports, policies, and the relationships between the board and CEO.

And has previously been on the boards of …Wimmera Catchment Management Authority, NSW Nurses Registration Board, Therapeutic Good Administration Advisory Committee, Consumers Federation Australia.

Lawyer, governance consultant and experienced board director in the government and not for profit sectors, Amanda started her career as a banking and finance lawyer, moved into public interest advocacy and then government, where she held senior manager roles for 12 years.

Amanda specialises in environment, climate change and health care sectors with a passion for the creative industries. She has lived and worked all over Australia, in Africa and SE Asia.
