Shownotes

Welcome to part two of this series which is a recording of a live Take on Board event with Marianna O’Gorman.

If you haven’t already listened to part one, it might be an idea to take a listen to that one first. In this episode, Marianna gives us an excellent overview of what climate governance is all about, why it’s important, and 10 tips for us to take into the boardroom.

As is always the case at these events, there’s a lively Q&A section. This episode is that section. You’ll hear guests asking questions and Marianna’s reflections.

Briefly about our expert for today – Marianna O’Gorman – Marianna is a non-executive director with a focus on climate governance and risk and she works with organisations who want to transition to a cleaner economy. Marianna has represented Australia at international climate negotiations; helped develop climate change education programs at the World Bank; contributed to the design and implementation of a national carbon price; worked on the foundation of (and later at) Australia’s Green Bank, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation; and conducted academic research on decarbonisation.
