One of the best parts of my work is seeing where our Kickstarter alumni go next. On Thursday, 16 April, the wonderful Elle Meredith is in town so it’s a good excuse as any to host a Take on Board meetup!!

Take on Board meetup - The Women of the Abbotsford Convent
After recently doing the ‘Badass Women of Melbourne’ tour, I’m officially hooked on uncovering the hidden stories of the women who shaped our city.
On Saturday, 25 April, 2pm, I’m heading to the Abbotsford Convent for their “Women of the Convent” tour.
The history of the Convent is often told through its architecture, but this tour focuses on the narrative that matters most: the stories of the women who actually lived and worked within its walls.
As we talk about governance and leadership in the Take on Board community, looking back at how women navigated these spaces in the past always provides such a powerful perspective.

Noosa Take on Board peeps or any women or gender diverse people on boards interested in catching up with other like-minded people to talk ‘all things governance’ – come along for an informal meetup!
I’ll be in Noosa and one of my favourite things is meeting up with the Take on Board community and Take on Board podcast listeners—and even better, seeing you connect with one another.

Karen Tisdell will be returning on 21st May for our next Take on Board online event, when she will answer questions that have arisen from her Take on Board podcast episode, which will drop on 22nd April.
Karen will share her secrets on refining your LinkedIn presence and how to position yourself effectively for your next board role.
